New York food truck owner, Cathy Scalia was selling more than hot dogs from her food truck. Scalia was charged with prostitution last month when she allegedly offered sexual favors to an undercover police officer. Scalia spent the day in court on Monday, and was sentenced to seven days in jail. She has maintained that she broke no laws, and denied offering sexual favors to the undercover would-be John. “I don’t see anything illegal,” she told CBS 2′s Carolyn Gusoff. “You want to charge me with prostitution — I don’t care. I’m out of the playboy mansion and in the real world.”
Scalia claims that she offered nothing more than a lap dance to the officer, as she does with many of the male customers who frequent her food truck. Scalia is a self-proclaimed stripper who offers to strip for her male customers as an added service. Apparently her customers visit her hot dog food truck to squeeze more than the hot dog buns.
She plans to move her operation to another nearby town, “I’m finding one little spot in an industrial area. To the mothers and children out there, I will be selling the hot dogs in my bikini. To all the guys I’m gonna wiggle those weiners, we’re gonna have a good time,” she told CBS 2′s Gusoff.
